Operation Log 005: Vlaicu Golcea & Sonic Tonic - Look Of Love

Vlaicu Golcea is one of the most prestigious musicians in contemporary jazz and electronica in Romania and he initiated this starting from Burt Bacharach’s classic, then I got in and kinda hijacked the project sending it in a new direction. But we kept the title as a sort of recognition for the inspiration source.

The tune was first released by La Strada Music on the legendary limited edition compilation “Bucharest Chills and Thrills”. But this deserves a new life!

False Flag Operation (FFO) is a label for electronic music and other contemporary arts, providing people a balanced diet of beauty and intelligence.
False Flag Operation (FFO) is a subsidiary of DubKraft Records and retaining a lot of its sound and ethos, but being a more of an ideas laboratory of its founder, Silviu Costinescu [Alien Pimp / Marginal / SubJazz etc], with an original approach over many details, as you will discover.

The label is mainly digital. But not only.

Many tracks will be released independently as soon as they are ready for it, but only in label’s own online shop and at ridiculous prices. Then, periodically, the tracks will be bundled in releases and shipped to all the online shops out there.

Also, we will show support for other forms of art that fit the same description.
